Pink October: Protecting Breast Health Through Precision Testing
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month worldwide, and the pink ribbon reminds us to focus on women’s health. In 2026, the WHO continues the theme “Each Story Is Unique, Every Journey Matters,” emphasizing the individuality of every breast cancer patient’s journey. As a manufacturer of medical diagnostic reagents, we understand deeply that precision testing is the cornerstone of comprehensive breast cancer management.
Early detection of breast cancer primarily relies on imaging screening and blood tumor marker testing. Mammography is currently the only screening method proven to reduce breast cancer mortality, though its sensitivity is limited in dense breast tissue; ultrasound and MRI can serve as supplementary tools. At the blood testing level, carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) is a widely used tumor marker. Studies have shown that CEA levels correlate with tumor burden and disease progression, offering clinical reference value in treatment monitoring and recurrence warning. Notably, preoperative CEA elevation has significant prognostic implications for patients with luminal A and triple-negative breast cancer.
For medical testing institutions, reliable testing tools are the prerequisite for realizing the clinical value of biomarkers. Our company now offers free fluorescence analyzers, the WIZ-A101 and WIZ-A203, which support CEA testing. These two instruments are designed to provide a convenient and stable fluorescence immunoassay platform for medical institutions at all levels, health examination centers, and research units, facilitating dynamic monitoring and follow-up management of breast cancer-related markers.
Early prevention, early detection, and early treatment are the core strategies for improving breast cancer survival rates. We are committed to working hand in hand with clinical colleagues, supporting every stage of breast health management with reliable diagnostic products, and making precision testing a powerful line of defense in protecting women’s health.
